AC In the community

UPDATE another well received performance. Hard to think of another classical music group that could produce an entire program of ethnic folk music in 2 weeks including an original composition written just for the occasion. North Africa by Simon Cole received a rowdy premier at the event.

Alban classical will be performing  during dinner at the "Welcoming Communities and Workplaces Multicultural Banquet"
June 25th, 2011- PG Civic Centre.

We will be playing Irish,Turkish, German and Eastern/Middle eastern music. Alban Classical board members: Grace Waddell (bass clarinet), Simon Cole (clarinet) and Erica Skowron (oboe and English horn) make up the trio.

Musicians are donating their services playing only for a small honorarium to cover reed costs and best of all, dinner!

Musician run

100% on a volunteer basis there are no administration salaries.. We only ask for support for musician performance fees, a very small fraction of the amount the musicians are giving.

Any help with other costs will allow us to expand what we can offer.

We do a lot with a little.
