Concert Band Music

All our bands are separate entities. The resources each band generates stay with that band and community.  We have the New Horizons Adult Band in Prince George. This band has run for 14 years and generally performs at least twice a year, it is supported by the city of Prince George, BC Gaming and member contributions.

In 2025 we started the Community Band in Burns Lake from our Oosta lake office established in 2018. This band is currently unfunded .We also ran a Band on the Southside of Burns Lake in 2024. now also unfunded. All 3 band are again offered this year.

Currently we  have 2 pro musicians  working on a volunteer basis managing the day to day operations.

Work includes, travel, instrument repairs, books, website maintenance, board meetings grant applications, research and and reports scheduling, venue rentals, advertising, social media, emails etc…..a minimum of 20 hours/wk, so we are looking for funding.
